Hiking/Scenic Rides
During the summer season, mid-June through mid-September, lift-served hiking and scenic rides are offered from the Silver Lake Express chairlift at our base facility, Snow Park Lodge, and the Sterling Express chairlift located mid-mountain. For your convenience, we recommend starting your day from Snow Park, which offers ample parking.
LIFT-SERVED HIKING / SCENIC CHAIRLIFT RIDES
Enjoy spectacular mountain scenery from a comfortable, padded chairlift. Once you reach the top, you can either explore one of our many hiking trails or simply reboard the chairlift and descend. Those hiking up the mountain can enjoy a free chairlift ride down. Please be aware that good hiking shoes are recommended.

Season
Open daily mid-June, through Labor Day; then weekends only through mid-September, conditions permitting.
Chairlift Hours:
Silver Lake Express
located at Snow Park, base area: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
(Last chair down leaves at 5 p.m.)
located at Silver Lake, mid-mountain: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(Last chair down leaves at 4:30 p.m.)
Rates for Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express Lifts:

- Scenic ride, adult: $15
- Scenic ride, senior (65+): $12
- Scenic ride, child 6 to 12 years: $12
- Scenic ride, child 5 years and under: Free
- Summer Season Pass: $275
- Interchangeable Hospitality Pass: $550
Scenic ride and bike passes valid for a lift to the top of Bald Mountain, starting at either Silver Lake or Snow Park Lodge.
Rates for Silver Lake Express only:
- Single scenic ride, adult: $8
- Single scenic ride, senior 65+: $5
- Single scenic ride, child 6 to 12 years: $5
- Single scenic ride, child 5 years and under: Free
One round-trip beginning at the top or the bottom of Silver Lake Express.
